Electronic interpreter application utilizing intelligent interactive display in museum
After long-term observation, it is found that only a few people will buy the explanation service when visiting the museum. Most of visitors only rely on their own knowledge to visit or discus with other visitors. If it is an art museum, it is very difficult to acquire rich knowledge by ordinary explanation. Some museum put QR code beside the explanation text. But this is only convenient for young people, inconvenient for some people. In order to better play a role of educational function of the museum, it is better to utilizing intelligent interactive display system.
There are two approaches to implementation:
One is to use PAD: when visitors want to know more about a cultural relic or handicraft, they can use a tablet to scan the QR code attached to the display cabinet, and the system immediately plays the video about the cultural relic or handicraft.
The second is to install an intelligent interactive explanation device beside the cultural relic cabinet. When a visitor wants to know the details of cultural relic or handicraft, once he/she touches a sensor placed beside the cabinet or approaches the cabinet sensing by human body, the LCD screen will automatically play carefully prepared and comprehensive audio and video.
This intelligent interactive explanation device is a knowledgeable, tireless electronic commentator.
